Congratulations to team Moskowy, who is currently competing in the Canadian Junior Championship in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. The team is currently tied for second place with a record of nine wins and three losses.

The Dominion Curling Club Championship
The Callie will be holding its annual Dominion Club Championship from February 16 to the 21. Two teams from both the men's and woman's side will advance to Regionals which take place at the Tartan Curling Club from February 22 untill 28. The Championship is free to enter, but teams moving on to Regionals will be required to pay a 60$ SCA competion fee. Applications are due by Friday, February 12. Teams can enter at the Callie Curling Club or by contactng the office.

New to the Callie this season:
Starting this 2009-2010 curling season, the Callie Club is introducing reduced rates for young adults 28 years and under as of April 30, 2010. Young adults can enjoy the benefits of playing in the adult league, while paying reduced prices.
The Callie Club is pleased to announce that the curling fees this coming season will remain the same as last year. With a $200 base fee, curlers get more value for their dollar the more nights they curl.

Leagues Offered at the Callie
Sunday Mixed: A fun non-competitive league that runs each week at 6:30pm. It’s a great way to get together a family or friends team and just kick back and have a good time.
Monday Open: The Monday Open League is a recreational open league with teams consisting of men's, ladies and mixed. Draw times alternate between 6:45 pm and 8:45 pm each week.
Tuesday Molson Men’s: A very popular men's league featuring strong teams gunning for playdowns. The Molson league is a competitive men's league for male curlers who are 19+ years or older.
Tuesday Ladies: Our Tuesday Ladies league is a recreational league open to women curlers of all ages. Draw times alternate between 6:45 pm and 8:45pm weekly
Wednesday Women League: Slightly more competitive, open to women curlers of all ages. Draw times alternate between 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
Wednesday Open: This league is open to men's, women's,mixed or any combination of players for of all ages and levels. It is slightly more competitive than our Monday evening curling. Draw times alternate between 7:00pm and 9:00pm/
Thursday Pay Per Win: One of the most popular leagues is the Thursday Pay Per Win. It is an Open league available to men's, women's or mixed teams. As the name suggests you are paid after every win.
Thursday Open: This league is open to men's, women's or mixed teams of all ages and levels. It is slightly more competitive than our other evenings with draw times alternating between 6:45 pm and 8:45 pm.
Friday Mixed: This popular social league it is slightly more competitive than the Sunday Mixed but is still fun!! Draw times alternate betweeen 6:45 pm and 8:45 pm.
